I give this movie out of a 1-10 scale: an 9: This particular movie was an amazing experience for not just me but for my fifteen year old brother, my mom, my dad, and my grandma. (Check out my mom's blog: The Sneathen Family Site at: http://sneathenfamily.blogspot.net/) I gave this movie an 9 because I loved how even though the normal voices for the muppets weren't present, they did a great job of capturing the muppets unique personalities such as Kermit, Fozzie, and Ms. Piggy. I also enjoyed the songs and the classic humor from The Muppet Show and their many movies. Although one of my favorite aspects of the movie was the creative locations of which the former muppets were found. The first clip of the credits could have been left out and it still would have been an amazing film. For all of you who haven't seen the movie, I won't give anything else away. So, if your family is bored and sulking on the couch, have a great time and come out and see The Muppets. Relive your childhood memories of Kermit the Frog and all his pals in this laugh out loud family comedy/musical!
About the Stars: Jason Segal: Surprisingly Jason Segal wrote and starred in The Muppets. Jason has starred many movies including Despicable Me which he played the voice of Vector, he will also be starring as the voice of Vector once again in Despicable Me 2 which will be estimated to come out in 2013. He is also on a popular television program on CBS called How I Met Your Mother, which he works closely with Neil Patrick Harris who is a guest star in The Muppets. Plus Jason Segal has starred in one of my mom's personal favorite movies Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and many many other movies!
About the Stars: Amy Adams: Amy was first noticed when she did the kids movie Enchanted, which led her to being nominated for best supporting actress in 2005, 2008, and in 2010, for the films Junebug, Doubt, and The Fighter. Amy also starred in other movies such as Julie & Julia, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, and Underdog where she is the voice of Polly. Like Jason Segal she has been in many television programs like The Office, Dr. Vegas and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
